Dr. McLaughlin, MD, FACOG:
Dr. McLaughlin, a board certified Obstetrician/ Gynecologist, has practiced in Hobbs for more than nine years and was previously with Covenant Healthcare Center. Dr. McLaughlin was born in Lubbock, Texas, and graduated from ( Lubbock) Monterey High School, Texas Tech University, and the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed his internship and residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center / University Medical Center in Lubbock in 1995 and moved to Hobbs. He is a member of the Lea County Medical Society, New Mexico Medical Society, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is on the Governing Council of the Young Physicians’ Section of the American Medical Association. He is a former Chief of Staff at Lea Regional Medical Center. He has been married for almost 17 years to Sundi McLaughlin and has two children, Mykel, 16, and Melody, 12. He is a member of First Baptist Church in Hobbs.

Ms. Haynes, RN, CNP:
Ms. Haynes is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has chosen to specialize in Women’s Health Care. She joined Hobbstetrics and Gynecology in January of 2003, moving here from Lubbock, Texas. She has previous experience as a labor & delivery nurse, as a nursing instructor with the Covenant School of Nursing in Lubbock, and as a nurse practitioner with Planned Parenthood in Lubbock. She was born in Plainview, Texas, and graduated from Plainview High School, Methodist Hospital School of Nursing (now Covenant School of Nursing), West Texas A & M, and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing. She is married to Jim Haynes and has two daughters, Anne Marie and Andrea. She is a member of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Hobbs.
